on a country drive…..
i turned down a road i had never been on and stumbled across a town called bostwick. filled with with history and beauty and at the same time; question, mystery, and abandonment. it had me curious to say the least. i spent some time hunting around and admiring the layered textures this little old town offered me, not wanting to leave and making me want to return again one day.
i love the curiousness that accidental discoveries bring. not knowing the people, history, or even knowing how to get home, allows your imagination write the stories.
i am sharing some textures from my day. i spent about an hour wandering on and around main street and afar; through an open-functioning cotton gin and other buildings. throughout this time i saw one person and 3 dogs, wandering alike, the rest is still a mystery…

I love your site! It’s funny how I just stumbled over it a few weeks ago and thought: These persons love the same things as I do. The beauty in the things you see everyday. The rusted roofs, the old trees, the things some people just pass by.
I’m from Sweden and take my camera everywhere I go. My website contains photos, diary, my creative work, like my own designed jewellery. I write my diary in swedish but check out the photos on my home page.
Do you understand what I mean when I say we think alike?
Thank you so much for your photos, your words and the feelings the give.
