pepper jelly crostini

this is a perfect spring and summer appetizer that is so simple to0.  it is perfect for a front porch or back yard party.

ingredients

-fresh french bread

-olive oil

-pepper jelly, the hotter the better

-cream cheese

directions

make the crostini

-heat oven to 350 degrees

-slice the bread thinly

-put on a cookie sheet and drizzle with olive oil

-bake for 10-12 minutes, keeping an eye on them to prevent burning (you want them to get a little brown)

-cool for 10 or so minutes

***spread cream cheese on the crostini and add a dollop of pepper jelly

ready to serve!
