My sunflower heads tend to mildew after I cut them. Could I dunk them into a bleach solutiion first. These are only for ornamental purposes. Also, I dig up the dried stalk with as many roots intact as possible and make abstract dolls out of them. They look just like tiny tree trunks.
OMG! this is my absolute “favorite” thing! I have so many sunflowers in my home but I LOVE the “dried sunflower” more than any! Beautiful picture; as usual!
