on a recent country drive, we found an amazing old house. it lacked life and luster but was filled with so much beauty and history. this abandoned place was once called home to someone… and someday… it will be loved again.
until then, i will continue to revisit and enjoy it’s natural charm.

eating fresh food has always been a passion of ours. as our food travels more and more miles before it reaches us, it is becoming more important to eat locally, grow your own, and get to know your farmer. food inc. is an inspirational documentary (and book) that paints an emotional picture of our food industry. it is a must see movie for anyone who eats in america!

well, all i can see against all my windowpanes in the idea shack is purple pokeberries that press against the glass. the garden is a sea of purple berries, and as i am drawing and painting and studying them, i am thankful for all their beauty. here’s the latest plates from the kiln.
