the dahlia farm

every year, we make a trip out to our friend’s dahlia farm. mimi and gary have this quainte little farm with goats, chickens, peacocks, dogs, a lovely home, oh and the wonderful dahlia gardens. we get a big dose of inspiration and a taste of country life every time we visit.
the dahlias got planted a little late this year so we are planning to visit in early fall when they will be in full bloom. even just one dahlia can make my day! we are hoping to return in a couple of weeks to see the fall dahlias in bloom.

this weekend our friend kenneth will be showing his lovely jewelry work at one of our favorite lunch spots; white tiger.
white tiger is a quaint little gourmet restaurant tucked away in the heart of the normaltown neighborhood, in athens. they are known for serving good local food and also supporting the many local artists and musicians by hosting events, as well as displaying and selling their work.
stop by for a glass of wine, a snack, and check out kenneth’s new work. makes me want to start wearing jewelry!
