rebecca started her handmade ceramics business back in 1991, with a few orders from boutique stores in new york.
things grew and grew, and now she stays busy designing and making plates, platters and bowls, as well as inspiring others to use their own creativity to make the world a more beautiful place.
rebecca strives to create a workplace that nourishes and inspires creativity. ‘r.wooders’, as they are affectionately called, make coming to work a joy.  every day there is wisdom, laughter, and encouragement for all.  it is a community of shared work, and a place of creative ferment.  lots of ideas are born out of our conversations and discussions, as well as lots of laughs.  all are appreciated for the talents they bring to r.wood studio, and their efforts to make sure everything gets done on time.  we are all thankful to have a job making beauty with people we love.  it really doesn’t get any better than that.
