downtown fun
instant inspiration
if you are out and about this weekend, stop downtown for the fun activities. every spring downtown athens hosts several festivals. this weekend is not to be missed. the athens indie craftsravaganzaa will be held on saturday from noon to 7pm. local and regional artists will be there selling their homemade goods, yummy food, and playing some tunes.
in the heart of downtown is the human rights festival. click here to see the extensive list of musician and speakers. the festivities will be going on all day into late in evening.

we passed this little house last week on a country drive. the poor thing is totally overgrown with kudzu! i’ll take another picture when the kudzu greens up.
