most southerners have a love-hate relationship with the wisteria vine. the fast growing vines can take down a tree in no time, but the sweet lavender blooms scent will easily take your breath away.

As someone who has had to cut the thick vines out of bushes and trees, it is hard for me not to shake my fist like a crazed old man at their beautiful blossoms in the springtime. I guess as long as they are on someone else’s property, I can enjoy them.
