garden to table
the athens farmers market has been going for a few years now. every year it gets better and better. this past saturday we enjoyed catching up with our local farmers, listening to local music, and of course feasting on some fresh and local food.

for years, r.wood studio has had a big company garden. it is a great place to break for lunch, get some exercise, cut some fresh flowers, and of course eat some fresh and organic food. a friend sent me over this article from the NY times about company gardens. hopefully this will become a growing trend!

in the country
we’ve just finished getting all the seeds in the ground, and things have sprouted up. too many vegetables to list. the iris are blooming, the roses are budding, and the dahlias are pushing up and out. i’m so anxious to see how it all looks in a month or so. hopefully, it’ll be a surprising paradise of beauty!
