the other day, we packed a little picnic and set out on an adventure. we have been wanting to check out this ghost town nearby called scull shoals. not really knowing too much about the place, we didn’t know what to expect.
this riverside town was once a town of about 600 people and was washed away in a flood in the the late 1800′s. in it’s thriving days it was a big textile industry and agriculture community.
what’s left is the decaying walls, bridges, and evidence of a place that was once called home.
