Tallulah Gorge

in athens, the maples just started to get really vibrant so sunday, we thought that we would go for a hike and admire the colors. we headed up to tallulah gorge state park, packed a picnic and hiked around. many of the fall colored leaves had dropped but we couldn’t have picked a better day for a hike!
if you haven’t been here, it is worth a visit any time of year. we love coming here for a hike and then we always stop at this little rustic pizza place on the way home, called louies on the lake which is located on lake rabun.

we are lucky to be so close to apple country. every year we spend a weekend taking in some fall- north georgia beauty and stopping at all of the orchards.
