this past weekend, i drove down to thomasville to visit my friend nan, and do some christmas shopping in her cute store,
. thomasville is about as far south as you can go in georgia. to get there, you drive past fields and fields of brown and white cotton, extensive pine woods with their low undergrowth all glowing in fall colors. you'll see vibrant green feilds of cabbages and collards,and people on the side of the road selling sweet potatoes off the back of truck.
while there, i took a couple of woods walks to listen to the sounds and see the beauty there. here's some of what i saw...
