in athens, the maples just started to get really vibrant so sunday, we thought that we would go for a hike and admire the colors. we headed up to
, packed a picnic and hiked around. many of the fall colored leaves had dropped but we couldn't have picked a better day for a hike!
if you haven't been here, it is worth a visit any time of year. we love coming here for a hike and then we always stop at this little rustic pizza place on the way home, called louies on the lake which is located on lake rabun.
