brussel sprouts are one of my all time favorite winter veggies. i typically braise them in olive oil and add a pinch of salt. this time i added a small bit of soy sauce at the very end and it was a magical pairing!

ingredients
1 pound of brussel sprouts
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 teaspoon soy sauce
directions
-wash and half the brussel sprouts
-in a cast iron pan, heat the oil and pan to a very high heat
-add the brussel sprouts
-you want to cook them quick on really high heat just until you see some browning
-add the soy sauce and toss them around on the heat for just 30 seconds longer
-enjoy!
