they say that when the dogwoods are in bloom, you can find morel mushrooms. my husband is an avid mushroom hunter here in georgia. the last couple of years have not been that great for morels but this year he has found a bounty of them this season. one of our favorite things to do with morels is sauté them in butter and serve them over eggs. the other day we sautéd them in olive oil and seasoned them with our 3 porch farmsmoked sea salt and shitake seasoning. We served them over some goat cheese and toast - what a perfect marriage!
