it is an exciting time for print publications right now. while many larger publications have gone under, small independent publications are being launched left and right.

last week athens farmers market debuted "crop stories". this little mag shares photos, history, recipes, and the raw story of how each crop gets from the field to the market and on to your plate.

before moving south, i spent several years farming, i sincerely appreciate highlighting the process and what goes into each crop.

in addition to the magazine they are doing a special dinner to highlight the star ingredient. it's a great concept and such a well done, sweet magazine, i am proud and excited for its future.
