rinne, kristen and i recently visited magnolia plantation, near charleston, sc. it is america's oldest continuous garden, dating to over 325 years old! we went in the early morning before the crowds. the weather was sunny with dappled spring shade and cool breezes. unfortunately, kristen and rinne had to leave early to head back to athens, so i continued my explorations alone. the low country beauty is so entrancing. something about it speaks to ancient, primeval times. . .
